These terms are an agreement between you and Backoffiz LLC, Texas, USA ("Backoffiz", "we"). By creating an account or using the TRIM app you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.
TRIM gives general fitness and nutrition information and tools for tracking. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not know your medical history. Some challenges involve reduced-calorie days or fasting. Talk to a doctor before starting if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, diabetes, heart, kidney or liver conditions, take medication, are under 18, or have any doubt. Stop and seek care if you feel unwell. Blood glucose, blood pressure and heart-rate readings shown in the app come from your devices and are displayed as recorded; they are not a clinical measurement and TRIM does not interpret them.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use the calorie-target, fasting and weight-loss features. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you use TRIM on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for their compliance with these terms.
TRIM is free to start. Plus and Premium tiers unlock additional programs, custom and group challenges, and deeper coaching. Subscriptions are sold and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms: prices are shown before you buy, renew automatically until cancelled, and are cancelled or refunded through the store, not through us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period unless the store's policy says otherwise. Features included in a tier may change; we will not remove a feature you paid for mid-period without a refund or an equivalent.
Do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the service, interfere with other users, or use TRIM for anything unlawful. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
What you log and post stays yours. You give us the licence needed to store, display and process it to run the service (for example, showing your progress to your group). The app, its programs, artwork, text and software belong to Backoffiz or its licensors and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use while you have an account. Nutrition data is sourced from public databases (including the USDA) and our own product records and may contain errors; check labels for anything that matters medically.
Data from Health Connect or Apple Health is read and written only with the permissions you grant, is used only as the Privacy Policy describes, and can be revoked at any time on your phone.
We improve TRIM continuously and may add, change or retire features. We aim for the service to be available all the time but do not guarantee it. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms, and may end the service with reasonable notice; in that case you can export your data before it closes.
TRIM is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Backoffiz disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information in the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where that is the case they apply only as far as permitted.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will show a notice in the app and update the effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
